People from all over California come to Belmont Shore to enjoy the annual Belmont Shore Car Show. Taking place on the usually busy Second Street (driven by an estimated 40,000 vehicles per day), attendees have the opportunity to intermix shopping and dining while viewing gorgeous automobiles. Vendors are also set up along 2nd Street, and you can't beat the weather of this beachside town with the warm sun and ocean breezes.
You can expect to find over 500 vehicles, some of the first automobiles ever made as well as classic roadsters, coupes, sedans, convertibles, muscle cars, sports cars, hot rods and low riders from the 1920's through 1986. Many cars are one-of-a-kind, limited editions or customized.
The show is always the Sunday after Labor Day weekend.
Over 40,000 people attend this event and sponsors present at the show include The Port of Long Beach, Performance Plus Tire & The Long Beach Airport.
The show is a Belmont Shore Business Association event along with The Bay City Rodders Seal Beach Car Club who provide the cars and vendors.
Vendor space is no longer available but you can register your car by visiting: www.baycityrodders.com, email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call Bill at 562-429-2188.
The cost to enter is $30 for pre-registration, $35 at the show, and $80 to be a VIP Power Parker. Power Parkers allow you entrance to the show before all the other entries.
East Second Street from Livingstone Avenue will be closed to traffic from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm or until 2nd St. is cleared to open. Bayshore Avenue will be open to traffic.
We recommend visitors parking at the Ocean Ave beach lots and the Marine Stadium lot off Appian Way.
