41st Belmont Shore Christmas Parade β’ Saturday, December 6th, 2025 β’ 6pm-9pm
The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade
One of the biggest parades of the year in Long Beach takes place yearly on the first Saturday in December. Families line up along 2nd Street for a seat or best viewing of the night-time event that includes Santa Claus, plenty of elves, and colorful bands, costumes, floats and surprises.
Over a dozen local marching bands, 100 entries, floats designed by Long Beach businesses and associations, marching bands, and local personalities and dignitaries, all make this the hometown favorite to get you in the holiday spirit. Belmont Shore loves the holidays and is adorned with light pole banners with festive holiday symbols and sentiments.
No Christmas Parade would be complete without an appearance by St. Nick! Entries return to Livingston Avenue heading west along the north side of East Second Street.
The parade route is along East Second Street and begins heading east from Quincy Avenue to Bayshore Avenue, makes a u-turn at Claremont and heads west on 2nd to end where it started.
East Livingston will close at 3 p.m. for parade entry line up and staging.
East 2nd St. closes to traffic at 4 p.m., which is the signal for spectators to set up chairs and blankets for a front row seat to the parade.
Free parking can be found at the Beach Parking Lots along Ocean Blvd and at Marine Stadium.
Drop off locations for ride shares and circuit shuttle:
West end - use Wells Fargo at 4601 E 2nd
East end - use US Bank at 5430 E 2nd
Parade entries are judged based on Execution of Theme, Originality of Design and Spectator Appeal.
2nd Street will close at 4pm!
π§ No chairs, blankets, or personal items on the sidewalk or median until the street is fully closed.
πΊ No alcohol on the street or in publicβsave it for the after-party.
